Liz Fulmer is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. When she is not performing live, particularly in the Lancaster County area, she is busy writing and producing more music. Her autobiographical songs, featured on Tall Tales, are just one side of her dimensional style. She has donated original music, written specifically for and to raise money for breast cancer awareness and children with learning disabilities. She has lectured at Millersville University on the business of songwriting and the music industry. Outside of the Lancaster music scene, Liz has been hired to perform at weddings, charity events, and private parties. In January of 2016 she released her second, full-length album of contemporary Christian music, Heaven Knows, that benefits Grandview United Methodist Church.
"Silence is a painful statement," Liz Fulmer sings in her single, "Wasted," off her terrific EP Tall Tales. Lucky for her audience, Fulmer shows no signs of pursuing that silence, interested instead in filling it with songs pulled straight from the heart, the gut. A more prolific songwriter, a more beguiling performer, you would be hard pressed to find. To listen to Liz Fulmer is to remember the immense power and possibility of a girl with a guitar: she can break your heart, she can mend it back together, she can change your mind. She can move you in ways you did not know you needed to be moved.
